This remarkable teapot was crafted by Chen Haiping, a National Master of Arts and Crafts from Yixing, renowned for his mastery in traditional Zisha (Purple Clay) teapot making. Made from premium Duan Ni purple clay, it was wood-fired (Chai Shao) to achieve its natural golden tones and subtle kiln variations — each piece is truly one of a kind.
The teapot features intricate carvings inspired by the Thousand-Buddha Cave murals, along with selected verses from the Diamond Sutra, embodying wisdom and enlightenment. The top is inscribed with the Six-Character Mantra (Om Mani Padme Hum), while the side bears the word “Huan Xi” (Joy) — symbolizing inner peace and spiritual harmony.
A perfect blend of Buddhist culture and Yixing artistry, this teapot represents both master-level craftsmanship and profound cultural significance, making it ideal for collectors and tea lovers alike
